谷歌地球（Google Earth）是一款Google公司开发的虚拟地球仪软件， 它把卫星照片、 航空照相和GIS布置在一个地球的三维模型上。随着鼠标的轻轻拖动便可以抵达世界上任何你想去的地方，即能够鸟瞰世界，也能俯冲峡谷，甚至你可以停留在你家的房顶上研究一下哪条通往学校，单位的路比较省力比较近。
记得06年底刚刚接触到谷歌地球的时候，它惊人的视觉冲击力给我留下了很深的印象。一直等待着google可以什么时候出个简体中文版，等啊等，在『月光博客』上了解到

说来很无奈，Flickr 被封， Blogspot 被封，youtube 被封，维基百科被封，googlepages 在国内就没问过世，也许google earth 永远也没有实现简体中文版的一天吧……
